Hello DCMHCA Members,
Through these unprecedented times, we find ourselves faced with new challenges to meet the needs of those we serve.
As your president for the 2020-21 year, I look forward to serving the association. My goals are to increase the visibility of the DCMHCA in the community, support our community, and our national chapter, The American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) as it continues to advocate for Medicare and licensure reciprocity for all LPC’s.
The DCMHCA welcomes our new members, and new officers on the DCMHCA Executive Board of Directors – Laurie Persh (President Elect), and Tanya Johnson (Secretary).
The DCMHCA is committed to serving our profession and the community. We will continue to offer CEU opportunities and promote diversity, equity and inclusion in all our activities; and commit to have a unified voice for LPCs in the District of Columbia. Toward that goal, we must ALL remain committed to engage and collaborate – to enhance the overall profession of LPCs in the District of Columbia.
You are the fabric of the DCMHCA. Please do not hesitate to share your ideas, suggestions, feedback, questions, or concerns, send email to: email@example.com
