Clinical Supervisors

The following DCMHCA clinicians are offering clinical supervision for DCMHCA members to licensed members, members seeking licensure, and students.

1) Dr. Camille A. Clay (dr.camille@verizon.net)

Ed.D. in Counselor Education from The George Washington University, MA in Counseling from the University of the District of Columbia, two-year certificate in Group Therapy and Group Work from the Psychiatric Institute Foundation. Licensed in DC. Over 30 years of counseling experience in a broad variety of settings with youth, adults, couples and families, individually and in groups. Approach is multi-modal from a cognitive/humanistic perspective. Interests include relationships (particularly cross cultural relationships), stress reduction, career, adolescence, marriage and family. Available for individual and group supervision. Chair, DC Board of Professional Counseling since 1993. President Elect of DCMHCA (2004-2005)

2) Laurie Persh (lauriepersh@gmail.com)

Laurie has worked in a variety of settings for 35 years across a continuum of care. She received her BS in Education from Kutztown University, has a Master’s degree from Lehigh University in Community Counseling, and post graduate study from the Adler-Dreikurs Institute for Family Therapy of Bowie State University. She is board certified in clinical mental health and is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Ms. Persh is an experienced clinician, critical incident responder and trainer; with expertise in trauma, grief, & loss; family systems, work-life balance, and cross-cultural counseling. She provided training and disaster response for the American Red Cross, FEMA, and Project Medishare in Haiti. She has worked in public mental health in agency settings non-profit and for-profit, providing counseling in-home, and inpatient to outpatient. She also has taught college and been a supervisor and manager. Ms. Persh has managed her own private practice, now in Silver Spring, MD for over 10 years, while also presenting numerous workshops sharing her accumulated knowledge.

3) Angele Moss-Baker (caps.therapy@yahoo.com)

ANGELE MOSS-BAKER, is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Employee Assistance Counselor – Clinical, Master Addiction Counselor and Diplomate, Clinical Mental Health Specialist in Substance Use and Co-Occurring Disorders, with over 25 years of experience providing comprehensive, integrated treatment services to individuals with co-occurring behavioral health disorders.  She received MA in Counseling Psychology at Bowie State University Adler Dreikers Institute.

She is the owner and private practitioner at Comprehensive Addiction & Psychological Services LLC, and provides clinical consultation, cross-training and technical assistance to behavioral health practitioners, government agencies, the faith-based community, and community mental health centers on various topics related psychological health and wellness and integrated treatment practices for the treatment of co-occurring disorders.
